5.0 star star star star starAt the previous clinic my older son’s complaints were dismissed/not taken seriously. Dr. DeStefani ordered blood work and suggestions for my youngest son. He listens and shows care and does not dismiss my child’s complaints of not feeling ok.

5.0 star star star star starDr DeStefani took time to explain and recommend healthier options for my son. Dr DeStefani seems very current on Pediatric medicine standards. My son felt comfortable and it was a pleasant visit. We did not feel rushed although we may have been his last patient of the day. I would recommend this location and Dr DeStefani.

5.0 star star star star starDr. DeStefani knows my son. He has taken a concern for my son’s mental health as well as physical. My son feels that he cares about him. I appreciate Dr. DeStefani’s straight forward approach and the time he takes to explain and hear our concerns/answer questions.

5.0 star star star star starDr. DeStefani explained how important those vaccines that we’re about to decline today because we’re going to travel abroad. We ended up getting it for our son. For his protection. Truly a pediatrician who cares for the welfare of my son. We thank him.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Destefani is so patient and kind. His laid back demeanor is so calming but is not to be confused with lack of caring. Even my 4 year old son pretends to be Dr. D when he pretends to be a doctor!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
