1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderHe only was interested in me if I needed a hip replacement. He saw the X-ray and when he saw I didn’t need a hip replacement. He was no longer interested in my concerns or the fact that I am in a lot of pain. I had to go to Suburban Orthopedics and they immediately scheduled me a MRI. I have a partial tear in the tendon. He is a horrible doctor and only cares about doing surgery.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderThe doctor came in very rude and said that he was interested in the location of the bone mass that I had removed in 2021 and that he normally wouldn't take cases like mine besides that one reason and that made me feel very disheartened and unheard which continued throughout the rest of the visit and he stated that there is nothing really to be done and when he was showed an image of the bizarre bruising I have been getting he simple brush it off and offered no help in trying to find a reason behind the pain and didn't give any solutions resulting in my leaving the appointment feeling worse about my condition and in conclusion this doctor made me feel rushed, not listened too, and discouraged about the problem at hand and the condition that my knee is currently in and I would not recommend this doctor to anybody!!!!

4.0 star star star star star_borderI was told that I was going to get injections in both knees at the previous consultation. When I was brought in the room, I was told that I was only getting injection in one knee because that was all it was approved for. I ended up getting injections on both knees, I hope I won't have to pay for the unapproved one.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderAfter the exam of my knee and hip the doctor was not very understanding of my situation. My pain is worst when driving. The doctor said that wasn't a problem because you don't drive all day but I am a commercial truck driver which is in my chart. He told me my problem was my age, height and weight. His solution was a high dose of ibuprofen daily and kept asking what my solution was for the problem. I also had to ask him to show me and explain my xrays. I finally said that I was not interested in any treatment with him.

2.0 star star star_border star_border star_borderI was referred here originally to see Dr.[]. Dr.Bodner didn’t seem to listen to my concerns. I know you can’t do much for a broken toe, I get that. But I tried to see if he could get me in at least a walking boot because I stated the walking shoe was not working. My broken toes were not secure and just sent me out the door. I drove an hour there because I heard it was a great place. I feel like I wasted my time and my money

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
