5.0 star star star star starDespite being so young, he has a lot of experience in what he does and explains everything very well. The day I first arrived at the hospital, we walked past each other outside and I read her name and immediately felt a connection and trust with her without knowing that she would be my surgeon.

5.0 star star star star starDr Vaince was not my first choice for a surgeon. She was “assigned†to me after a rather shocking diagnosis. She was new to NW Medicine and my plan was to hear her out and get another opinion. OMG that would have been a huge mistake! From the moment she “floated†into the room for our consult I ABSOLUTELY KNEW she was going to be outstanding. Her countenance is so very special. She loves her work and it shows in every detail of her care plans. She is confident but not cocky, a skilled communicator in being direct but oh so very compassionate. She’s so knowledgeable and never once did she hesitate. She is able and willing to answer every question. She is the real deal and takes TIME with her patients. Never once did I feel rushed. I will shout her name from the rooftops! If you have a choice, Dr Faizza Vaince should be yours. I am blessed to say she is my surgeon! Dr Vaince ROCKS NW Medicine!

5.0 star star star star starDr Vaince was my surgeon when I Had breast cancer. My breast cancer was extremely difficult to find. The 3 D mammogram and MRI with contrast did NOT show my cancer. It was through having many biopsies that my breast cancer was only stage 1. Thank God!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
