2.0 star star star_border star_border star_borderHave seen him once and had a phone call once. Very nice man. I felt he was not prepared for our appointment. I felt he has a talk memorized and says the same thing to a lot of people. I had been in the appointment twenty minutes before he asked me if I had family with breast cancer. He obviously did not look at my chart before entering the room. Next contact with him was on the phone. Not prepared again. Told me to continue getting regular mammograms. I have had a bilateral mastectomy. Hard to trust someone who has come unprepared twice in a row. Maybe he is just overworked, but I won’t be looking for advice from him.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Faruqi listened to what my husband and I had to say. He didn’t mind when we interrupted him to ask a question, and he was honest and Frank, which was greatly appreciated. I walked out empowered. Thank you Dr Faruqi.

5.0 star star star star starI feel very well cared for by my doctor. He takes lots of time to answer my questions and concerns. He also coordinated my chemo treatment so that I would be at my best possible during a very important event that I needed to attend while undergoing chemo treatment. I truly appreciate him doing this for me.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
