Who is Northwestern Medicine Regional Medical Group?
Northwestern Medicine Regional Medical Group, formerly Cadence Physician Group, is a multispecialty network of physicians practicing in 36 locations throughout Chicago’s western suburbs. Northwestern Medicine Regional Medical Group employs more than 300 physicians with expertise in 30 specialties and subspecialties.
What is Northwestern Medicine?

What does this mean for patients?
As part of Northwestern Medicine, patients will have access to award-winning hospitals and a vast network of primary care and specialty care physicians close to where they live and work. They will continue to receive the same quality care from the same care team at the same location. Our name has changed, but not our commitment to excellent patient care.
Will the Cadence Physician Group name go away?
Yes, effective September 1, Cadence Physician Group has officially transitioned to Northwestern Medicine Regional Medical Group.
In the coming months, interior and exterior signage will be updated with the Northwestern Medicine brand. Forms and patient handouts will be updated throughout the remainder of the 2015 calendar year. Additional signage will be posted through physician offices notifying of the transition of Cadence Physician Group to Northwestern Medicine Regional Medical Group.
What do patients need to do?
We are working to make this transition as seamless as possible. The relationship between patients and providers and the care they receive will not change.
Are the accepted insurance offerings changing?
Accepted health insurance plans are updated periodically. Please visit rmg.nm.org for a complete list of accepted insurance plans.
Do patients need to do anything with their medical records?
No. We will continue to maintain patient medical records. Patients will still be able to view and manage their healthcare information in the MyNM Patient Portal with 24/7 online access to a variety of tools, including scheduling appointments, reviewing bills and requesting prescription refills.
Will patients need to change their upcoming appointments?
No. All upcoming appointments will remain as scheduled.

Will physician locations and phone numbers stay the same?
Yes, all phone numbers and locations will stay the same. Patients can call their physician’s appointment number or call 630.933.4800. TTY for the hearing impaired 630.933.4833.
When will I start receiving a bill from Northwestern Medicine Regional Medical Group?
Patients will continue to see Cadence Physician Group on billing statements for an interim period as information with insurance health plans are updated.
